Hello, I’m Gina!

I was born and raised in the northern Thai provinces of Lampang and Chiang Mai, where I was deeply immersed in the region’s rich culture and traditions. As a young adult, I moved to the vibrant city of Bangkok, but I’ve always stayed closely connected to my roots through regular visits home.

I have a deep fascination with the art and culture of Thailand’s Hill Tribes, which is beautifully expressed through their distinctive clothing, handcrafted goods, and flavorful cuisine. One of my greatest dreams is to help share their incredible artistry with a wider audience. I’m also passionate about the healing art of traditional Thai massage, which I have studied and continue to practice today.

In 2006, I moved to Canada and began working at Sabai Thai Spa in North Vancouver. Eventually, I discovered the stunning Sunshine Coast and chose to make it my home. Starting my own business has been a long-held dream, and I’m proud to introduce you to Siam99 – a retail store featuring unique, handcrafted products from my beloved homeland, formerly known as the ancient kingdom of Siam.
